HXGN-12 Ring Main Unit

      The HXGN-12 series switchgear (ring main unit) is a box-type fixed AC metal-enclosed ring main switchgear (referred to as ring main unit). It is used in power supply systems for breaking load current and short-circuit current, as well as closing short-circuit current. This ring main unit is equipped with a vacuum load switch, and the operating mechanism is a spring-operated mechanism, which can be operated either manually or electrically. The earthing switch and isolation knife are equipped with manual mechanisms. The ring main unit features strong integration, compact size, no combustion, and reliable "five-prevention" functions.

The ring main unit is used in AC 10KV, 50Hz power distribution systems. It is widely used in urban power grid construction and renovation projects, industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, and public facilities. As a ring main power supply unit and terminal equipment, it plays a role in the distribution, control, and protection of electrical equipment. It can also be installed in box-type substations.

     The frame of the HXGN-12 (F•R) type ring main switchgear is assembled using domestically and internationally advanced profiles;

    The overall structure of the cabinet is sturdy. The top part of the cabinet is the busbar chamber, with the instrument chamber in front, separated by a metal plate. The upper middle part of the cabinet is the installation position for the load switch, and the lower part is for cable entry and exit and other components (such as current and voltage transformers). There are metal partitions between cabinets, and bushings between busbar chambers to ensure the safe operation of each power supply unit. The doors and terminal sealing plates are treated with electrostatic powder coating. The above treatment methods and materials give the switchgear enclosure strong anti-corrosion performance. The cabinet is equipped with a complete electrical misoperation prevention device. The cabinet has a small volume, occupies little space, is compact in structure, and is safe and reliable. The enclosure protection level reaches IP4x. This ring main unit complies with the relevant standards of IEC420 and GB3906-91.

Altitude not exceeding 1000m;

Ambient temperature range: -25℃ to +40℃;

Relative humidity: daily average not exceeding 95%, monthly average not exceeding 90%;

Locations without conductive dust, corrosive gases, and water vapor;

Locations without frequent severe vibrations.
